Jason, a life long native Floridian, is a graduate of Lake Brantley High School and the University of Florida, so he’s been in O-town for a while now.

Jason enjoys “making” a photograph, using and manipulating light to capture a specific moment, a specific emotion. Jason also enjoys referring to himself in the 3rd person.

Photography is an art where the difference between taking a photo and making a photo is similar to you singing in the shower versus Celine Dion.

Not that Jason is a huge fan of Celine Dion, but you can’t deny she’s got one hell of a set of pipes. So yes, you can sing in the shower, but a multi-platinum recording artist it does not make you. Just as your brother in law who recently bought that super fancy 20 gazillion mega pixel digital SLR camera and offered to “take” some family pictures for you, won’t be able to make amazing photographs you’ll be able to look at for a lifetime.
